Kaks viimast tühja laiku said täidetud liblikatega ja nõrgemad kohad helmeste-litritega täiendet.
Valmis!
I had problems with basque stitch in the beginning - wrong choice of thread, wrong mood and settings for stitching - and couldn't form nice loops in this stitch. I wasn't satisfied at all how this little section (third picture from top) was ruining my bag. But didn't want to rip it out either as this bag is still my sampler and should record all the learning process. All this kind of threw me off and I took a break in TAST for awhile.
Well, after few weeks without needle and little self-analyzing (was I afraid to ruin the bag, afraid of not living up to my expectations, or what was my problem?) one afternoon I felt that time had come to reach for needle and attack this basque stitch. And so I did, I added it here and there until I felt totally comfortable with it (4. picture from top).
Rest was easy, I covered last two empty spaces with butterfly chain stitch and added sequins and beads to places where I thought stitching alone wasn't good enough.
My second bag of TAST-series is stitched. First one can be seen here and I'll continue in same manner till end of the year.
